Cartas de Desamor

‘Cartas de Desamor’ is Luísa Sobral’s eighth album and marks her move towards traditional Portuguese music. Breaking new ground, this record comes as a creative and emotional rebirth after a more introspective period. Never losing her focus on lyrics and songwriting, she blends her own identity with the rhythms and percussion of Portuguese culture. The album was produced by Ricardo Dias (who has worked with major names such as Fausto and Vitorino) and features special guests Vitorino, Sopa de Pedra and A Garota Não. ‘Cartas de Desamor’ is a celebration of reinvention that brings together the past and present of Portuguese music.
